Hannah shifted her gaze from Axel to the rock where the princess was laid by her lover. She felt an indescribable burn in her heart for the princess and she was unaware of the time tests rolled down her cheeks.
Axel saw the tears running down her cheeks but he made no effort to wipe them. Instead, "Do you feel bad for the princess?" He asked her and Hannsh nodded because right now if she tried to say a word, the only thing that would be heard will be her choked sobs.
Axel finally moved. He raised his hand and wiped her face gently before pulling her into a warm embrace. This was the only consolation he could give her for now.
The story he just told her was no fairytale, it was the story of past beasts and hunters. Though he made some alterations, the story was still the same. Whenever a hunter hears this story, it is bound to bring tears to their eyes. The death of the hunter princess is like the death of a close kin to the hunters.
