Bam interrupted calmly. The two women, who sat in adjacent seats, turned their eyes back to her.

“Actually, I’ve received an order to investigate Mr. White Wolf in the past.”

The word “investigate” made White Wolf pause. His narrowed eyes stared fixedly at her.

“Does your employer own a detective service or something? Why is he investigating people left and right like this?”

Madame Fon couldn’t help but take a dig at the mysterious man. They were fooled when this woman came to the Butterfly shop, acting like she was interested in Joke when in truth, she only wanted to investigate him.
