Bab 10: Bees
As Alilith and Lao walked through the the forest they hunted various mutated beasts causing Alilith to levels up two more times.
Alilith opened he status.

Seeing that she had a lot of attribute points Alilith allocated them.

After allocating her attribute points Alilith continued her journey through the forest.
Finally after walking for a few hours Alilith and Lao reached the edge of the forest.
Spreading out before them were rolling hills of green. Tall grass covered the ground along with massive sunflowers that were at least 12 ft in height with the tallest being in the 20s.
In the fields they could also see large bees pollinating the flowers. In the distance there was a large bees hive.
A constant flow of bees was flying in and out of the hive constantly.
"Watch out. Those are mutated bees." Lao said in warning, "Their mutation is makes them bigger and also causes their venom to be more potent. Of course that only matters if you survive their sting."
As they walked through the hills Alilith and Lao were wary of their surroundings. They avoided contact with the bees to not fight the hive.
While they were walking both Alilith and Lao had the feeling they were being watched. However whenever they looked around they couldn't find the source of the stares.
It felt like the stares came from all directions.
"Wait a minute." Alilith said looking around, "These sunflowers, why do they look like they're looking at us now?"
Lao looked around at the flowers quickly.
"Oh no." Lao said, "we've gotta get out of here. Run!!!"
Lao flew up in the air higher than the tallest sunflowers.
The sunflowers unleashed several spiky vines at Alilith. Alilith summoned a wall of flames, burning the incoming vines.
SCREEEEEEECCCCHHHHH
A loud screech resounded from the surroundings. The sunflowers writhed in agony as they tried to put out the fires.
While the sunflowers were burning Alilith started to run away from the flowers. Unfortunately the sunflowers weren't going to backdoor that easily.
More vines shot toward Alilith from all directions. Alilith jumped into the air causing the vines to hit the ground creating an explosion of dust.
While she was in the air Alilith fired off fireballs at the sunflowers. Several explosions erupted around her.
Seeing their fellow plants burn did not deterre the sunflowers. Instead the sunflowers were enraged and became more determined to catch Alilith.
As Alilith landed on the ground she took a fighting stance, preparing to burn all the sunflowers to ashes.
Suddenly a loud buzzing sound appeared. Flying above the sunflowers were bees. Hundreds of bees and they obviously weren't there to pollinate.
"Shit." Alilith said seeing the army of bees.
Alilith did not wait for the bees to come to her. She created a massive wall of flames and then ran in the opposite direction.
'There's absolutely no way I'm going to fight all those bees.' Alilith thought to herself.
Unfortunately for Alilith a simple fire wall would not stop the bees. They charged forward while showing no fear.
Many of the bees died when touching the wall of fire. However after a certain point the number of bee corpses on the ground was enough to smother Alilith's flames.
The bees were angry. The flowers and the bees have a symbiotic relationship. They work together. When one side is threatened the other side will fight for them.
Alilith continued to throw masses of fire at the bees and sunflowers to stall them as she runs away. Smoke bellowed into the air as countless sunflowers and bees were burned to ashes.
However, countless bees and sunflowers continued to attach Alilith with reckless abandon. Alilith seeing that her chance of escape on the ground was getting slimmer, transformed into her phoenix form
As Alilith flapped her wings feathers of fire shot out towards her enemies causing miniature explosions to destroy many bees and sunflowers.
Alilith flew high into the sky, to a point where no bee could reach and released a beam of fire from her mouth. Wherever the beam hit flames burst out, scorching the earth and all that surrounds it.
The bees and sunflowers, who could no longer retaliate, could only burn helplessly. Seeing many bees and plants burn Alilith continued her slaughter until no more plants or bees were moving.
All her enemies were either turned to ash or hiding from her fury. Alilith landed on the ground and transformed back into her human form and looked around.
The surroundings were no longer the peaceful meadow of green but a scorched earth covered in the ashes of hundreds of bees and sunflowers.

After she got the notification Alilith started walking once more, further into the rolling hills where there was still grass growing.
Lao, once again coming out of her hiding place in the shadows, flew towards Alilith.
"Well... I see you really care about the ecosystem." Lao said while observing her surroundings, "Not that I mind too much I am a fire spirit and there's a lot of nice fire here now."
Alilith ignored the spirit and continued to walk towards the hills of green.
"You know you could at least acknowledge me!" Lao said, "You're not gonna be able to make any friends with your personality."
"Your still here aren't you?" Alilith said still walking forward.
"Yeah... well... So What! Maybe I'm gonna get sick and tired if your attitude and leave." Lao complained as she continued to follow Alilith around.
"Uh huh" Alilih sighed while she listened to Laos lecture on how unfriendly she is and how she won't make friends.
Alilit opened her status.

Alilith smiled while looking at her status. She felt a sense of accomplishment every time she leveled up.

Once more Alilith felt strength surge through her body. Aliith walked over to a boulder nearby.
Getting into a fighting stance, Alilith threw out a punch at the boulder.
Baaaaammm!!!!
The boulder shattered from Alilith's punch sending debris in every direction. Alilith felt satisfied with her growth.
Alilith, having finished with her status, started walking once more into the rolling green.

Sorry that I haven't uploaded in a while and that this is a shorter chapter than usual. I'm still in the process of moving and haven't had the time really.
I've been working on this chapter for a while, I did it whenever I had time. But now I'm back, probably and will try my best to upload on a regular basis.
Also a while back I said that a friend of mine will write another story on this account. Well thats not gonna happen anymore. Unfortunately they couldn't find the passion to write anything. On the bright side that means I won the competition, so there's that.
