Bab 86: Teaching the human traffickers a lesson (Part 1)

Just as she was happily picking the jujubes, she saw a tree of jujubes not far away. Although they were wild and did not taste as good as the ones she grew at home, they were much more nutritious than the winter jujubes she grew at home.

Bai Wenjing picked persimmons and then ordered Xue Chang 'an to pick jujubes. Soon, both of their baskets were full.

If she wasn't in a hurry to go home and cook, she would have picked and eaten as much as she wanted.

When the two of them rushed home, it was time to cook.

Xue baijun and the others had just come back from school. Bai Wenjing quickly boiled some water and mixed it with soup. She boiled it with pickled vegetables and added some oil and chili. It was a wonderful taste.

Fortunately, the three children enjoyed the meal. After dinner, Bai Wenjing began to test the three children on what they had learned.
