Bab 192: Uninvited Guests

Caroline already had a premonition when the waiter tripped. She wanted to pull Joline away but the moment her hand touched Joline's arm, she suddenly stopped.

Joline was already over 60 years old, and she might not be able to withstand her strong pull!

At the moment, there were only two ways. One was for her to reach out and take the tray, including everything on it, in public, but that would seem a little too outstanding.

While she was hesitating, the tray and the champagne glass on it had already flown over.

Caroline didn't have time to hesitate. She took a step forward and turned around with Joline in her arms. The tray brushed past her back and fell to the ground with a loud clatter, attracting the attention of everyone.

Caroline put Joline on the ground. Joline looked at Caroline in disbelief. "Was I flying just now?"

"I just moved you a little," Caroline said, amused.
