Su Yan was caught off guard and even forgot to dodge the sandwich Bai Xue threw at him. The sandwich ingredients splattered all over him, leaving him covered in tomato juice.

Peeved, his favorite shirt was ruined!

After changing his clothes, Bai Xue also emerged, suited up and ready for work.

"Did you think that I would starve if you didn't make breakfast?" He raised his eyebrows; did she really think a strike would trouble him?

"I never thought that way. Who are you, Mr. Su? The boss of Jin City, which restaurant wouldn't eagerly wait for you to grace them?" Bai Xue derided sarcastically.

"Glad to know you're aware!" Su Yan couldn't express his arrogance with that response, her cold mockery was quite stinging.

Bai Xue might be in love with Su Yan, but she was still a lady, not a saint. Not generous enough to endure his reckless actions.

If he had shown any signs of remorse this morning, she would have let yesterday's issues go. But there wasn't any at all!
