Bab 44: NOT A NEW CHAPTER

So, I owe you all a big apology as the author. I've been on a crazy long hiatus, and guess what? Turns out there's an option to let you know when that happens!

Anyway, I won't bore you with excuses about why updates have been scarce...
ACAOPH is like my baby, you know? I'm a huge fan of reverse harem and strong female leads, and during this downtime, I've been reflecting a lot. I've noticed a bunch of things that bug me—from how relationships develop to the too-short story arcs, plot holes, and even characters I seem to have forgotten about. Just recently, I was on the other side as a reader myself, so cut me some slack, okay? Please?
I really love Lucina and her boys, I love Kai and Maverick and Stacy. But honestly, I feel like I haven't fully brought them to life yet, they feel a little bland. It's kind of frustrating. Because I genuinely don't know how to add the spice you know? They say writing gets better with time, I sure hope it does.
Oh, and speaking of random choices, I still don't get why I made Luan a transmigrator into a novel he read. It's weird, but hey, he's here now, so... sue me, I guess.
During this hiatus, while I'm struggling through university life (seriously, what am I even doing here?), I've been diving into more reverse harem novels ....for research..... definitely research.
The scenes are wild, let me tell you. I tried to write some similar stuff, but half the time it just made me laugh or cringe. Wish me luck. And hey, if you've got any recommendations for reverse harem books that really nail it, hit me up. Looks like the "mature themes" tag might just end up being about gore at this rate.
