Bab 56: Aaron's Feelings

Aaron gently closed the door behind him, the latch clicking softly into place.

The room was bathed in the soft glow of a bedside lamp, casting warm shadows across the walls.

His eyes fell upon the bed, where Max lay in a deep slumber, completely oblivious to the world.

The room was scented with a hint of lavender, a calming fragrance that hung in the air.

Max sprawled on the bed, his legs claiming the entire space, one foot peeking out from the rumpled sheet.

His food plate, now empty, was set aside, a testament to his hearty meal. The room was quiet except for Max's rhythmic snoring, a symphony of slumber that filled the air.

With a tender touch, Aaron draped a soft blanket over Max, tucking him in with care.

He observed Max's face, the lines of worry smoothed out in sleep, giving him an air of innocence. Just as Aaron turned away, Max's hand shot out, fingers curling around Aaron's with surprising strength, even in sleep.
