The tension in the room was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. My parents were smiling at Hudson while Makai's parents were giving him a steady and calm look. Even Doc was acting like there was nothing wrong at all. I didn't know what to say or do at all. This was pretty much just a deadlocked situation. Who was going to make the first move?

Well, apparently it was Makai that was going to make the first move. He was the one that cleared his throat and spoke at the very least, so I guess that makes him the hero of the situation.

"Well, I don't know about any of you, but I am hungry." He clapped his hands together and smiled to put everyone at ease. "Dinner is done now, so how about we head to the dining room and eat while we talk about all of this?"

"I could eat." Hudson was trying his best to remain calm.
