Bab 26: A Little Suffering

Nicholas cleared his throat. The next vote was one that could cause some arguments and he couldn't wait to see what the nobles had to say about that.

"So… the last one!"

"Hmm," Clifford hummed as if he too, shared Nicholas' curiosity.

"Like Sir Keith said… in the case of the vampire king being unable to return to the throne, who among the princes-"

"Definitely not Prince Stephan…" Sir Willis yelled. "That one has a sickness that no one knows the origin and the cure."

"That is not what we're here to talk about, Willis," Clifford said feeling disappointed in the old vampire for insensitively speaking about the prince's ailment.

"Please go on, Nicholas…"
