Bab 200: Um, It Was Donated

"Critter, of course! I have told you countless times that we are not allowed to have human blood, Edric. It's against the rule—wait! Did you say...human blood?" Valerio questioned in realization. 

[Yes. We have a batch of human blood in the blood bank here.] Edric replied.

"Edric, are you out of your mind?" In disbelief, Valerio asked.

[Huh?]

"My father warned you, didn't he? You are not allowed to have human blood in the blood bank! Where did you get it from?" Now actually infuriated, he questioned.

[Um, it was donated.] Edric responded.

"Did you smuggle it in? And have any vampires come for it?" Valerio inquired further.

[S-smuggle! Of course not! I don't do such a thing. Your Highness, I think you are getting something wrong here.] Edric immediately panicked, realizing that Valerio got him all wrong.

"What do you mean?" Valerio asked.
