Bab 51: The Witch's Shop (1)

The lights start to turn back on. All the mutants and monsters went their own way. As well as the supposed to be half-dead humans.

~All the mutants have gone away master~

I thought about what I could've done to save Isra if I hadn't been stupid enough to have followed them. Or maybe I should have noticed when the parasite got into my neck.

~There's no bringing Isra back~

I didn't feel incredibly sad.

~Maybe it would be better for her. It's only been 3 or 4 days since I've known Isra. Who knows what she's been through before she met us.~

Deep in thought seconds later a hand hovers over my shoulder.

As the hand went over my shoulder I reflexively turned around quickly, fully ready to swing my right fist to whoever it was.
