Zhongli stood in the center of the platform, surrounded by five elixir pools that shimmered with an otherworldly glow. The abyss swirled and roiled around them, a maelstrom of darkness that threatened to consume everything in its path.

The abyss was Strigoi's essence as it corrupted, twisted, and perverted everything in the mindscape. It reached out with tendrils of darkness, trying to wrap itself around the Zhongli suddenly small, kitten stood at the ready, its eyes blazing with an inner light. Its fur was made of Spiritual Qi, a shimmering, ethereal substance that crackled and sparkled with inner energy.
