Bab 52: Chapter no.52 Murim Alliance

[ Zhongli's Mindscape ]

[ Zhongli's POV ]

I opened my eyes and found myself lying flat on a massive stone platform surrounded by five shimmering pools, each corresponding to one of the five elemental energies - Earth, Water, Fire, Wood, and Metal. The pools glistened under the soft light of a thousand stars and pulsed with inner energy of their own. I sat up and took in my surroundings. Everything is shrouded in a deep black void, but the platform is illuminated by a warm, comforting glow.

Suddenly, I feel a soft, furry presence on my head. I reach up to investigate and my hand comes into contact with a tiny, purring kitten. The creature is pure white, with a glossy coat and piercing blue eyes. It looks up at me with a mischievous twinkle and begins to playfully bat at my hair.

" Ego, what happened?"

" Well, you ignored my warning and now we are in this mess."

" Hey, I needed to use my full power."

" Well, your need is now the cause of all of this shit."
