Bab 67: Amarok's Dilemma (2)

Amarok's cheeks flushed, and he quickly looked away, trying to hide his reaction. The twins were toying with him, testing his limits, and it was taking everything in him to maintain his composure. He knew he couldn't afford to let them see how flustered he was, couldn't let them know how their attention was affecting him.

Once the bath was finished, Amarok helped them dress, his hands steadying as he focused on the familiar routine. But as he adjusted Lucian's collar, he couldn't help but feel the weight of the prince's gaze on him, as if Lucian were reading every thought that crossed his mind.

"You're doing well," Lucian said quietly, his voice almost gentle as he watched Amarok's hands work. "But remember, you're here to serve us in every way. We expect nothing less."

Amarok nodded, though his heart was pounding. "Of course, Your Highness."
