Sitting behind my desk I looked out through my office. Rimuru, Yuna, Milim and Ramiris were all present around the long table in the middle of the room. Energy was high between all of them, Ramiris especially, as she quickly found out that Veldora was back and continued to threaten him with her punches. These punches having the power to bury him, so she claimed... I, myself, wasn't in such a mood as I was getting an increased sense of dread. Oppressive vice-like pressure surged through my chest and into my stomach as butterflies played tag with my innards.
Thus, I was separated from the bubbly atmosphere. With my eyes closed I felt the veritable chaos of essences around me. Magicules vortexed in a similar form of chaotic arrangements as all elements swirled with various concepts that all communicated with one another at instant speeds. Faster than light, faster than I could comprehend. The perception of time was grasped at by the wisps of my consciousness, drawing upon my Ultimate Skills to further this influence to a stage in which I could look through the envelopes of time and space, perhaps to gain some sight on my adversaries.
Starting with Michael as my target I soon started to delve into the recent past. Magicules drained from me vacuously as my connection to the Liminal space strengthened over a few seconds, my soul delving through the barest borders of the dimension. Scraps of silvery light remained as residual reminders of events within Tensura, the entire place looking almost exactly the same as the normal Liminal Space; the only difference the silver light orbs. Looking around for a few seconds I hesitantly dropped down to my knees and cupped my hands to collect the orbs. A single flash was all I got before I found myself back in my office...
Michael had decided to venture to Walpurgis for some reason. He was bringing his true dragon and some of his other minions. Something larger was beginning, an urgency I could feel from the time memories. It wasn't just contained to him either, it was radiating from his surroundings as well. I did the same search for Yuuki and this possible problem. Unfortunately Yuuki was somehow cloaked from Time or something as I got very little about him from the Liminal space, just the vision of him influencing Shizu. The encroaching issue however was entirely silent. Nothing. There was nothing about it, ominously so. The unease within me increased as I disliked unknown variables, a trait I had picked up from my time as an assassin. The office was still alight with energetic displays of boisterous chatter and chasing, Milim punching Veldora several times only for him to block her every attack.
Vague sparks of magic flitted at the edge of my perception, a friendly aura communicating its intent towards me, as if it knew that I was watching. In recognition of this signal I sent a single flare of magic through the connection and immediately felt a small crevasse in space split apart before me, green gas wafting gently from it as a man and a green bird stepped out... Dr Paradox.
"Paradox, you look worse for wear."
His entire lab coat was soot covered and had numerous holes throughout it. At the same time his gas mask was slightly cracked with green gas barely exhaling from his breath. His bird also looking harrowed as many of its feathers were cracked and or missing.
"Indeed, but it was not in vain! I was able to stave off the dimensional insurgence for another year."
"Dimensional Insurgence?"
The rest of the room went silent as they saw this display and the words spoken about. Confusion reigned within me as I felt for the presence of a dimensional space similar to the Liminal space. There was yet again nothing. Narrowing my eyes I focussed on Paradox as he seemed to want to continue.
"Yes, a rather fascinating paradox of the highest order... I have been researching into it since I got to this planet. The structure of the dimensional corridors and striations are purely intriguing, in fact, it is such a rare occurrence that it would be considered and superbly powerful apocalypse in most circumstances. Yet it isn't here for some reason."
"You are making very little sense..."
"The event is causing an increased amount of reincarnators to surge through to this world however, as if the world or universe is attempting to create defences before the tidal wave... I believe this is why many new people have come to this world. Most intrigued I was."
"... So essentially there was a paradox that has to do with a dimension? Usually it would be apocalyptic but isn't for some reason and it could have been causing the influx of reincarnators?"
"Oh, no, the reason it isn't apocalyptic, yet, is because of me. If i hadn't been here the entire world would be very different at this current stage. Anyway, the time and space aspects of this dimensional tear are very fascinating... It is as if some godly beings are attempting to surge through but are barely able to use their powers."
Rimuru, Yuna, Milim and Ramiris were all staring at us blurry eyed. Rimuru and Yuna would soon get it but it was certainly a lot to unlock and digest minutes before a Walpurgis where the entire fate of Tempest would be decided. His words did make me worry about my own actions in this world...
'Did I cause that rift?'
No, you did not. You don't have that much power. Even if you intended to do it your powers are not on the level of a God yet or anything close to a Demi-God.
'Stinging but also reassuring, thanks... This news in concerning now in another way though...'
Who is doing it and what will they do when they come through?
'Yes'
I am going to sleep, you figure it out... Call me when we need to smack some heads in.
His voice vanished soon after that as Paradox was continuing on his miniature rant about the aspects that the dimensional rift was influencing. It was affecting almost all magicules and concepts apparently. His knowledge of concepts was no surprise to me as even Raistlin had said this was common knowledge in greater universes and multiverses.
"Even fire has been affected! Inconceivable... I still wonder who would wish to change the concepts of the entire Universe."
"Hold on. That is their end game, who ever 'they' are?"
"That is my theory. It could be wrong, could be right, don't quote me."
At the end of my office there was a double door of malevolently shaded metal. Two black knockers adorned where the usual door knobs would be placed. It opened to reveal a maid with blue hair, significant power oozing out of her before countless people in the room all directed their power back, overpowering her completely.
"Paradox, please feel free to stay in Tempest. We have a meeting to go to..."
"Ah, Walpurgis, just the place I need to go. I am going as well."
The maid looked over and shook her head.
"Demon Lords and a maximum of two servants are allowed to come."
Paradox looked over to her and then unleashed a power that was more enormous than Rimuru, Yuna, Me and Milim combined. So pungent in power was he that she dropped to her knees from the sheer presence of it, the intent lacking utterly from his display. With an exhale of green gas he let go of his magicules and turned back to me.
"Can I come?"
"Sure... Not like I can stop you..."
"Hehehe, of course you could! You just don't know your power yet! Anyway, let's get going, tallyho!"
...
Within an Ice Palace Somewhere on Tensura
Flick... Flick... Flick...
Standing before his wardrobe a man of crimson red hair flicked through the various outfits of very similar styles that he had. On his head was a black bandana that sat just above his eyes that were also ochre-red in palette. He currently wore no clothes except for the two necklaces of dragon teeth. His sleek musculature reflected delicately from the ice around him as behind him Misery and Rain stood calmly.
Flick... Flick... Flick...
Yet again he glanced past some different variants of his usual outfit. This continued until he finally found one he wished to use. Black as night and lacking all other colours that would give it flare, it looked utterly edgy to most but not to him. He smiled as I clicked his fingers, Misery and Rain coming up to his side, pulling the vest-half-cloak from the rack and dressing him within moments. His pants were black but had a touch of maroon within the fibres, giving the look that they were soaked in blood.
As his servants, his friends, were dressing him he now looked at the list of names on a paper that suddenly appeared in his hands before anyone could even observe that it had happened. One page, two, three... He continued until all of the papers were read through.
"Rimuru... Interesting. Slime but becomes a Demon Lord..."
"Silviana... Dark Elf that becomes a Demon Lord despite her species' lack of ability to do so."
"Yuna. A new species entirely that appeared out of the blue and suddenly becomes half Angel, half Demon... The new era of Demon Lords are surely intriguing!"
A smile cleft itself onto his face as to his side Misery and Rain finished and arched their heads slightly, listening to him and absorbing the information.
"With Michael coming to this meeting I am afraid that this will not be simple, perhaps it has something to do with his precious Order? Hmmm..."
"Crimson-sama, perhaps he wishes to summon his army of angels during the meeting?"
"Mmm, not impossible, but very indelicate and unlike him. No, he would be doing this to gain some sort of information that he otherwise could not ascertain with his forces. Perhaps it has something to do with the Dimensional Tear above us, or maybe the new Demon Lords..."
A new paper emerged in his hand as he looked down and read once more.
"Ainz, huh? Interesting. So many Demon Lords and even Michael is coming... Perhaps I'll be able to find some fun for myself?"
Misery and Rain smiled a touch before stepping away and going back to their previous positions, their faces slightly flushed as they looked at Guy, his grin still glued to his face. No one at this moment knew what he was thinking but whatever it was, it was keeping him fascinated and intrigued...

Huuu, I hope I did well portraying Guy! It is stressful to think how he'd respond... Anyway, hope you enjoy!
