Kazi was able to carry Lanira's charred corpse on his back and returned to the camp while dragging along the spy. He had to make a detour so as to avoid following the direct route in case more enemy sutori came looking for him.

When he was still far away from the camp, Kazi figured it would be more believable if he did some extra preparations, so using the enemy sutori's dagger which he had kept in his storage seal, he tied it to a tree to make it more believable, since experienced sutori would be able to tell a self inflicted injury from one done by a third party. Kazi made sure to bruise himself up a bit and also gave himself one good wound on the shoulder, a place that wouldn't affect him much.
