Bab 67: Who Am I?

The timing for Varya to get her own lab couldn't have been better.

After Ebari broke the news to her, she hadn't been in the mood to work, but she showed up to the lab each day, hoping something would inspire her to keep moving forward.

Most days, she sat at the workbench in the center of the modern lab, staring at the unfinished aura gun.

In the two weeks prior, she had been making progress in finding an alloy that would allow for the transfer of aura into the gun. It was a little bit harder to figure out than she originally expected, but she thought about Dr. Brie and was able to keep moving forward.

Until she heard the news about the prince, that is.

Unknowingly, she was going through a grieving process the same way the prince had done for her.

It was agonizing not knowing if the other person was still alive. The what if's were all either of them thought about most days as he trained and as she tried to work in the lab.
