Dr. Salus had been pleased with Galen's progress and decided he could leave the hospital whenever he wanted to.
After all, it was starting to become impossible to keep people from wondering why the emperor was making the hospital his permanent residence when he wasn't someone who had gotten injured in the invasion.
She had even offered the men the imperial suite Basil had occupied days before but Galen insisted that he wasn't a person of that high importance and decided to stay in one of the regular rooms.
Whenever she walked into the room to check on Galen, she noticed that there was something tense between the men and she thought it would do them a favor to get out of the hospital.
To her surprise, when she said he could be discharged and asked about his care going forward, Ebari was the one who responded.
"You don't need to worry," Ebari said. "I've got everything taken care of. I'll bring him back for his next appointment as well."
