Bab 51: It's Finally Time

Seeing Planet Ptoma again made Varya's heart ache more than she was expecting it to. Memories of her and the prince could be felt in every corner, and she had to keep her eyes directed at the ground or she was certain she was going to start crying.

The moment she saw the tunnel leading up to the castle, she knew she was going to have to control herself as she was reminded of the night they kissed for the first time.

As much as she wished so could forget him so it wouldn't hurt so bad, getting closer to him was the most exhilarating thing she had ever done in her life. She had to mentally shake it off and keep going since there were eyes on her.

Anxiety had made a home in her mind once again, and she found it difficult to focus on anything else. Occasionally, she would have to take a deep breath in order to calm her nerves.
