Belinda winced at the insinuation. She tried again to block out the image of Grace getting into the car, her face lit up with excitement as she glanced at the man beside her. That expression was one of affection, not professionalism. 

Could it be true? Could her daughter have gotten involved with someone for all the wrong reasons?

Rufus wasn't finished yet. "You know what the worst part is? She didn't even tell you about it. If she was really doing something honorable, why hide it?"
