Bab 60: Our Charles Is The Bravest

Before Grace could ask for Charles's permission for Ingrid to ride with them, Jace walked out of the house, and went to sit directly in the Bentley.

Grace: " …"

"Sir, it seems you entered the wrong car," she said, not knowing how to ask him to come down.

After his strange behavior last night and what everyone was saying about the special treatments she was receiving, she wanted to reduce their interactions to the barest minimum.

"Are you in any way insinuating that I've lost my sense of direction or sight, Ms Fowler?"

Grace opened her mouth in shock. "No, no, no, sir. Nothing of the sort, sir," Grace quickly denied.

"What I meant is that we were supposed to take the car to the kingergarten, but there's no problem if you want to use it to the office," Grace clarified, afraid she would say the wrong thing.

When Jace didn't say anything nor get down from the car, Grace sighed.
