Bab 37: A History of Survival

The first day of the Five Year Eclipse is one of the darkest days of human history. It is a cruel reminder of the capacities of humanity.

As the forces of Galdona marched upon the small island of Martha, they left blood and guts in their wake. Man, woman, child, soldier, royal, civilian, young, old, no one was exempt from the force's mighty blades. Thus the rivers and the oceans flowed red with blood, and swords and hands were dirtied with gore, and humanity once again made history for itself, but not a history anyone would wish to remember.

The siege of Martha lasted only one day. The little island was not able to even stand a small chance against the enemy's forces. And on the dawn of the second day, portals once again opened, allowing the forces to retreat back to Galdona. They have sent their message, the proclamation of war.
