Bab 243: Tree of Underworld

"W-ren?"

The feeble voice sounded akin to a roar of thunder in the ears of Wren. The energy she was manipulating crumbled the moment she slipped up her focus. The blades as well as the black mist shrouding her disintegrated almost instantly. The very next second, her appearance returned to normal. 

Her pupils were dilated in shock as she leaped towards the fallen Orion. Color drained from her countenance as she finally recognized him and what she had done to him. Almost one year ago, he went missing from their University. Though most of the people were just surprised, his close friends Orion were confounded by the sudden disappearance of their Friend. 

Among them, sadly she was one of those who knew where and why he left? She wasn't super close to him, …. actually, she wasn't close to anyone during their first year. Both of them were everyday friends but the sudden shift in the scenario was something even she hadn't predicted at all.
