Bab 109: Terence in danger

Terence felt his eyes wavering, the world spinning as he was high on drugs, with him struggling to keep himself conscious. He was in deep trouble with the enemy flaunting in front of him but he couldn't do anything except accepting his fate that was in his hands. He closed his eyes to think about how he reached this point? 

He was on his knees, in a subterranean chamber with no hope of help or survival, his body weakened to the stage he could barely prevent himself from fainting. His arms, legs, chest, or wherever his hand could reach on his body was riddled in crisscross scratches and cuts. They were the proof of the fight he had put up with this monstrosity before reaching this state.

Stinging pain almost tingling his nerves from these fresh injuries he had been inflicting on himself for the past day but to only reach here. He winced as he did not have enough strength to even carve out another rune on his skin.
