Bab 17: Vampire (3)

Two years ago, within the world of the game Altair, in a cave devoid of light, there were numerous inaudible screams, heard only by the bats that flew out in large groups, afraid of the creature born from the ground. This creature had long hair that constantly changed between blonde and black, and its eyes alternated between red and black. Initially slender, it grew stronger day by day, and after two weeks, its body became fully toned, and its consciousness evolved into that of a young adolescent. Slowly, it began to take its first steps out of the cave.

"This hurts..." said the human-looking creature, standing completely naked. After speaking, the shadow produced by the sunlight against its body began to wrap around it, forming a black suit and dress pants with a tie emerging directly from the fabric. The pain it felt vanished, and it removed its hand from its eyes, seeing for the first time the magnificent landscape before it. Standing at the beginning of a mountain, a few meters above an immense forest that stretched beyond its sight, it felt the breeze against its body, overwhelmed with countless unfamiliar emotions. Looking at its hand for a few seconds, it entered a deep state of thought, trying to process everything happening.

"What is all this? What am I? What's going on here?" the creature said, crouching on the ground, experiencing a complete existential crisis. It started to walk backward, falling into the forest and rolling down for two hundred meters. When it hit the ground, its body was covered in scratches, wounds, and bruises, some severe. It experienced a new sensation, and moments later, all damage to its body disappeared.

"What kind of creature are you?" asked an ogre with broad tusks and dark green skin, tracking the human-like creature by the smell of blood. Carrying two red-furred tiger carcasses, it threw them aside, looking at the creature before it, which stared back, clueless about what was happening. "You seem to have better meat than these weak animals."

"Me?..." it asked, confused, its gaze lifeless.

"Yes, you," the ogre said, grabbing the creature with one hand, squeezing it, and bringing it toward its mouth. As it felt the creature's body break and return to normal, it looked into its eyes. When it saw the pair of red eyes, its body froze, and it heard the creature say something that, inexplicably, made it tremble.

"Is this dangerous?" the creature asked, effortlessly prying open the ogre's hand, which was almost as big as its body. It placed its palm on the ogre's only working eye. The ogre began to sweat profusely, and the creature, without realizing it was already on the ground, stood in front of the immobilized ogre and said something simple that meant nothing more to it. Hearing it, the ogre foresaw its death, and in a way, it wasn't wrong.

"What do I do now?" the creature asked, placing its hand on its chin, standing in front of the motionless ogre. Out of curiosity, it touched the ogre's leg and, moments later, felt its hand grow hot. Looking at the ogre, it saw it suddenly catch fire, several flames spreading over its body until it crumbled to ash. Not understanding anything, the creature began wandering the forest without any clear direction, eventually finding an empty spot with only a few trees. Sitting on the ground in the middle of the place, several walls grew around it, gradually forming a mansion.

'It used its powers without knowing, humiliated an ogre, and is now being pursued... this is going to be tough,' Dmitry thought, sitting a few meters ahead of the human-like creature, possibly a vampire, judging by its features and powers. He sighed, looking at the bat Trins on his shoulder.

"So this is everything that happened to him?" Dmitry asked, looking at Trins.

"Pretty much, because after that, he just walked around the house and created me," Trins replied.

"He created you?" Dmitry smiled, looking at Trins, extending a talking wing.

"What happens if I pull this?" Dmitry asked, rubbing his fingers on Trins' wing. Almost instantly, a strong pressure covered the entire house, and Dmitry saw enormous red eyes in his vision. When it returned to normal, the creature was holding Trins, looking at Dmitry and saying:

"You... danger?" said the paralyzed creature.

'So he can't communicate properly? What a mess,' Dmitry thought, looking at the bat now in the creature's hands, awaiting Dmitry's response.

"Danger? Me? Don't worry, I just came to help you at someone's request. Can you tell me your name?" Dmitry asked, seeing the creature's gaze follow his movements.

"Trins... was it Trins who asked?" the creature asked, looking at him.

"So that's the name of this bat," Dmitry said, looking at the bat, which showed no reaction.

Dmitry stood up, bowing to the creature in front of him. Raising his head slightly, he said, "Exactly, the first great creature among the first vampire progenitors."

"Great? Me? Vampire?" The creature seemed confused, hearing unfamiliar words, but something felt strange to it.

"Exactly. You may not know, but where I come from, you are creatures of great renown, almost invincible, immortal, with unimaginable powers." After Dmitry spoke, he saw the creature's eyes change from a dull black to their original strong red, shining through the mansion window.

"What is my name?" the creature asked excitedly.

'He really knows nothing...' Dmitry thought. He then looked at the bat, now sleeping in the creature's hands, pondering what it had been doing for these two years, realizing the creature knew practically nothing.

Dmitry shook his head, placing his hand on his forehead and said, "How do I put this? Your name... your name is Luke Keat."

Looking at the now-named vampire Luke Keat, Dmitry thought of this name while observing everything around but ended up choosing one fitting for a vampire if he were to write a story.

"Luke Keat. My name is Luke Keat..." The vampire named Luke Keat knelt before Dmitry, his hair glowing black, his eyes remaining bright red, and the name Luke Keat appeared in red letters on his black suit. Trins, the sleeping bat, perched on one of Luke Keat's shoulders. Two game system windows appeared beside Dmitry, who smiled at the sight.

'Arm? Did you run out of ideas after planning the whole game?' Dmitry thought, patting Luke Keat's head. Standing at the mansion door, he pointed inside and said,

"We're leaving, Luke Keat. I have a lot to tell you, but first, let's destroy this place to erase any trace of you." Dmitry said, already outside the door, walking toward the forest. A few minutes later, Luke Keat caught up, holding the bat with him, Trins.

"Let's go after the other arms."

In the midst of several buildings, one stood out, drawing a large crowd of angry people in front of it. The passersby looked somewhat frightened, hearing some heavy cursing, while several others silently recorded the entire commotion.
