Bab 496: Her Only Friend

Amelia Spencer had a horrible crying hangover when the doorbell rang with the visitor that was about to change her life. She looked awful, with puffy electric blue eyes and her chocolate brown hair in disarray wearing a pair of Mickey Mouse head patterned pajama shorts with an oversized white t-shirt. 

She wiped her eyes as she answered the door and looked up. She was tall for a woman at 5'8" but she still had to look up to see the face of the man at the door. He had to be well over six feet tall. 

He was incredibly handsome too. Dark blonde with fashionable stubble on his face and warm brown eyes. He was wearing a somewhat rumpled suit but the messiness only added to his overall aesthetic. 

"Can I help you?" she asked. 

The man's face broke into a bright smile and he surged forward to hug her, which nearly gave her a heart attack. Why was a complete stranger hugging her?!

"Mila!" he cried happily. "It's me, Leo! I'm home!"
