He could not help but chastise himself after hearing what she said. He guessed she had every right to be mad at him. He did break the contract and his word.

He knew he should not have acted so impulsively around her. But he had no idea what had gotten into him when he suddenly pulled her into his arms.

"I just wish to say I am sorry about last night." Damon attempted to correct his mistake, admitting that it was his fault.

He initially thought he could approach her and things would be okay. But he guessed he was mistaken as he realized it would not be that easy.

"As I said, let us just forget it ever happened." Jules stared at him one last time before turning and walking away.
