Bab 1: Chapter 0: Kuroko & Mikoto Prologue
Well hello there, this is the Railgun/Index story I have been planning on for a while. This story will involve ToumaXHarem (Most/some characters for example Mikoto, Kuroko, Index and some others) but that will prob be like 4-5 chapters in as I want to give some of the characters a back story of their life and why Touma was important to them so much that they ended up the way I want this to be. Anyways on with the chapter and this is my first Toaru series fiction so bear in mind of misspellings that could happen even if I use Grammarly to help me write/fix it.
Chapter 0: Kuroko & Mikoto Prologue
July (1 year before the index arc started in the manga/anime IRL)
It is a normal day (like always) in Academy City and we starting our journey/story with the spiky-haired boy aka Touma (but we don't know his name yet as no one has interacted with him yet) who was in his room at the time which was like 5-10 mins before noon as he decided to go out for a walk past the bank to try to get some money out of the atm (yes, he is poor but not so poor that he is in the series).
*Meanwhile with 2 Tokiwadai Dormitory girls near the bank on the way to the park*
While we saw that, two Tokiwadi girls were walking towards the park, those girls were the 3rd Lvl 5 (Railgun who most recognize her as) Mikoto Misaka and the other one Lvl 4 (Teleporter was most called nickname) Shirai Kuroko.
They were gonna enjoy their day at the park but that gonna change soon.
″Onee-sama, what are we gonna do after we reach the park?″ Kuroko ask Misaka (not yet using Mikoto due to planned chapter/stories) while having a weird perverted look on her face which can only mean one thing, right?
″Well, I guess we can see when we arrive there and you better get your perverted look away because you know what will happen″ Misaka replied Kuroko while trying to stop her perverted act.
″Sorry…″ Kuroko said with a bit of a sadder face while Misaka said ″Is it ok for us to stop by the bank, I wanna check my money status″ she suggested as she got a nod as they entered the bank and walked to an atm
At the same time, the spiky-haired boy Touma was already there and checking and trying to get his money so he could have some in case of well anything bc of his misfortune, ″Such so misfortune″ he quiet said to himself, as he did that the two Tokiwadai girls were at an atm next to him and saw/heard what he was doing and they were quiet joking about him.
Moments later he was starting to head out when there was an explosion that surprised not only him but also the two girls and others in the bank. The explosion was small but big (medium size if you get an idea of how it looks) but still managed to hurt both girls a bit but not seriously but that was when a guy walked out of the fog and managed to hurt them more.
'I can't let him hurt them or even kill them, my right hand/arm should help me gain time for them to get to a better place.., Alright here goes nothing' he thought to himself and started to run towards the girls and the attacker and managed to stop him to hurt them more.
″I won't let you hurt the nice girls anymore″ Touma said which surprised both of the girls because they knew nothing about the boy nor knew him
″Who are you, what level are you because the only level that can stop me is either 4 or 5″ The attacker said while recovering from the surprise attack from the boy.
″Im Kamijou Touma and im are at the bottom of level 0's″ Touma replied while looking at him with an angry face and breathing heavily after using a bit of strength for that punch.
While that was happening, Misaka and Kuroko were looking at each other happy that Touma saved them but at the same time surprised as he said out loud that he was at the bottom of level 0's and managed to stop the attacker.
Touma fought the attacker and managed to get a punch that temp made him incursion for a few moments which he took to walk to the hurt girls and lend them his jacket and his shirt (the one between his real shirt and jacket, I'm a twat and forgot what it is called lol) and put them over the bleeding places they had while asking ″Are you two alright?″ while holding his clothes on them to stop the bleeding till helps arrives.
The girls looked a bit scared but thankfully that he was there so they replied ″Yes, we are ok, thank you″ as the attacker silent got up and dashed towards Touma who was now a bit away from them as he was gonna check the attacker but never got a chance as the girls saw that the attacker was dashing towards him and they shouted ″WATCH OUT, TOUMA!!!″ which made him turn around just to get stabbed near his heart which made the girls terrified because they got saved by him just to get stabbed but what surprised them was he managed to get up and punched him so he passed out and then slowly walked back to the girls but failed close to them as he self passed out due to blood loss.
″Touma, stay alive, please!″ both girls cried on his face/body as Anti-skill/Judgment together with EMS and rescue services arrived and loaded Touma in the ambulance and drove him to his hospital, while Mii, Kuroko's chief saw the girls crying and decided to walk to them and be there for them as they watched Touma inside the ambulance drove off.
Kuroko was the first one to ask Mii something which was ″Will Touma be alright? He saved us both so he doesn't deserve to die″ while still crying but onto Mii's chest on the right side while Misaka was also crying but on the left side.
″He will also did he say what level he was and I suppose Touma was his name?″ Mii replied while looking at the crying girls on her sides.
Unknow to Kuroko and Misaka, Touma survived and will be recognized later on (aka like in a future chapter which will be out like in 10 weeks or so due to my messed up planning and time of my boredom which doesn't even help me to get back to writing).
The rest of the day went on normally but the bank event affected Misaka and Kuroko rest of the day while they together with Mii, Uiharu Kazari & her friend Saten Ruiko (who will be introduced later on) looked up Touma's history, info and profile in the Judgement list if what he said back at the bank ″I'm are at the bottom of the Level 0's″ thought all of them after Kuroko and Misaka told them what he said when he said his name.
″Here it is, let's look!″ Uiharu said when she found his page and they started to read but something caught Misaka's eye.
″Can you back a bit Uiharu, I think I saw something that could explain why he thinks he is at the bottom of level 0's″ Misaka asked Uiharu who was going back till Misaka said stop and they read the part which stated the following:
″Due to my unknown power the machine that gives you the starting level was unable to rank me at any level so they decided to rank me as the lowest level 0 ever as my power was still unknown to everyone but not many have seen it in action except me. Thanks to the power, it looks like it also brought misfortune with it which was clear as in my early moments after arriving here I got stabbed but it was not serious because someone thought it was me with my misfortune that guy went bankrupt moments later after interacting with me but that's not all, it also made me lose money in the vending machine in the park near the bank, 10.000 yen to be exact, each time 100 yen I try to get a drink and prob 500 yen on a hot summer day so that made me very poor so I blamed my misfortune.
I live on the 7th floor of an 8-storey student dormitory for boys in School District 7 if you wanna find me unless you find me at A Certain High School on a school day or somewhere in town depends on the day″
As they finished reading that Kuroko and Misaka thought that they need to visit him either in his hospital room or at his place.
″Mii, can we visit him? To thank him and get some info for your work and report of the event. Uiharu and Saten can also come along to say whatever they want to him″ Misaka asked her as she replied with a simple ″yes, we will visit him tomorrow, ill call the hospital to see if it is alright for us to visit him″ as Misaka and Kuroko looked at each other, then at Uiharu and Saten and finally said ″Thank you″ quiet to Mii.
The next day
The girls at Joseph's Coffee and Restaurant and eating before heading to the hospital where a certain boy who saved Kuroko and Misaka was hospitalised and taken care of due to his blood loss yesterday at the bank.
Both Misaka and Kruoko talked and asked the other how they would say their thanks before they set off to the hospital.
*Later*
The group finally arrived and was given directions to Touma's private room they asked why but were told to ask him and his doctor who was asked to stay there in case something happens to him.
The group was now outside of his room and Mii was the one who knocked on the door as the doctor opened it and let them in, two girls surprised Touma, those were Misaka and Kruoko who he saved yesterday…
'How will I face them now' he thought to himself as the girls went and sat in the chairs that the doctor placed out as he knew they were coming.

How will Touma face them when he gets to know that they had read his profile and info of how he was ranked the lowest level 0 and how will he take both Misaka's and Kuroko's 'Thank you for saving us'
