/ History / A "Slave" in Arthur's "Court"

Ringkasan
Traveling to different times, universes, and stories isn't fun. Especially when you forget everything you know beforehand about the people you're going to meet. Doubly so when you have no control over said travel.
Narnia was hard enough to live in, and that was made into a children's book! I shudder to think of living in any universe deemed 'mature' enough for adults.
But you know? When I thought of King Arthur, I always thought of Knights in gleaming armour serving in a castle, not this military outpost!

A/N:
This is a very VERY slow burn. But don't worry, you'll be cheering them on even before they actually get together! I just need time for her to prove her strength and him to get over his mindset.
That rating down there is NOT for show. Story will include descriptions of murder, period typical discrimination/bigotry, and nudity.

Tulis ulasanLike the MC, I certainly did not expect Arthur and his court to be anything like this. It’s sort of a culture shock? A bit? I mean, everyone kinda knows that knights are chivalrous, but that’s only compared to the others of that time. Seeing it from the perspective of an out-of-time girl is quite a different matter. And wow, can I gush a bit about the sheer world-building? I mean, just the number of places mentioned! The master/servant/slave culture, the relationship between riders of certain places and their horses, courtship rituals, olden time stationary, chains of commands, relationships of military groups and how geographical positions affect that...etcetera...I can’t even imagine how much work has gone into the research of this story. Bravo! (I don’t usually review, but after rereading the author’s stories for the nth time, I’ve decided I’m a fan of the author and should fix the problem where this is the only one of her stories I have not reviewed. But really, go read her two other stories. They’re awesome and are both completed)
Well I quite enjoyed reading this to its current point. The story uses a somewhat familiar setting that has been dramatically stripped of the usual romanticism typically applied to arthurian legend. It reminds me of the old pendragon series. Our strong willed protagonist deals handily with the attitudes of the other characters. (This is my first time reviewing a novel so I'm trying to do my best). Anyway keep up the good work and thanks for an interesting read.
i really loved this story and hope for author to keep on updating and also hope that many readers will read this story( i kind of want it to be popular) because it's good and some might get confused in some other parts but you'll get used to it.I like how the character act specially Kation/Natalia..and highly recommend this to readers specially those who like reading history..
First of all, the setting is quite nice. It's rather hard finding historical pieces, especially western ones on this site. Characters are alright, though would be preferred without the romance, but that is the (sub)genre.

Better writing than I expected and better depths than I thought it would. Some things still seem slightly off and only a few spelling/grammatical mistakes. Logic flow jumps at times, but if you ignore these things and can deal with the amount of suspended belief needed, it's quite enjoyable.
