Bab 1324: Duan Yanhao's Eagerness

Xirong Ziye wiped away the blood on the corners of his lips. As he stared blankly at Bai Yaoyao disappearing from his sight, he felt as though his heart had been emptied too.

He really felt hurt and sad. He couldn't live without her, so he couldn't lose her now.

One of his subordinates noticed how miserable the president looked and couldn't help but cry too. "President, shall we return?"

Xirong Ziye shook his head. "Go and check where she went. I don't feel assured with her being alone."

"Yes!"

After Xirong Ziye found out that Bai Yaoyao had gone to the bamboo garden near a village home, he went there too. Even if she were to ignore him, he wanted to stay near her.

He felt satisfied just by breathing the same air, knowing where she was and watching her from afar.

At least he had a clear direction now, unlike before when he didn't even know if she was alive.
