Chu Xian continued flipping through the book, and Hong Chenghai peered over his shoulder curiously. He kept adjusting his posture; as a person inside the system, he was not as relaxed as Chu Xian.

"Greetings to the Chiefs!"

A few minutes later, Hong Chenghai shot upright and called out loudly in greeting to a group of people entering the room.

Chu Xian raised his head and stood up as well.He nodded to the three older men and one middle-aged man. "Hello Chiefs."

"Okay, okay. You don't need to be so formal. We're using our status as ordinary people to thank you two today. It's only because we have some special duties that we couldn't go to you to thank you today, and I hope you don't mind that we've had you come all this way." The old man standing at the center of the group chuckled and replied. He wore magnanimity like a cloak.

Hong Chenghai looked to this old man with excitement and trepidation and hurriedly nodded.
