Although the Godsfall elite troop were taken aback by the Cleric Walker's Word of God — which had caused them to suffer some loses in the first clash — they soon recovered from their reveries, remembering that they still had the advantage in numbers. Furthermore, the fairies of Eom Village had been blessed with strength boosts, but they were not experts at combat. When the Wise Mad King's elite troop remembered that they also had superior equipment, gears, and skills, their confidence returned.
TL’S MUSINGS:
Way to go, Attie! That’s the spirit! Now that’s what experience could do for you, man. And it’s so cool that she even got a nice armor out of magical Owl-goo!
But of course I like the Sunflower more! Insta-growing of its head like a hydra after you slice its head off, all while it gives a slasher smile? So! Adorable! I wish I can have a doll that grows their head back after I slice it off. I’ll name them Marie Antoinette (duh.) and guillotine her anytime I fancy, and chuckle in delight as I watch her head springs back up again, which symbolizes the constant respawn of enemies to the people’s rightful freedom!
… Or maybe it doesn’t, and I shouldn’t. Those severed heads are gonna be too much as trash. I would be creating too much garbage and I’m not sure if these severed heads are biodegradable...
Anyway, what more did you expect the girls to showcase? I think it’s rather nice that they get a day in the limelight— it’s high time, too! And also, gosh, the Cleric’s quite OP here. He’s practically playing god by commanding “spells begone!!!” and WHOOSH, they were! And then add more crazy boosting buffs and harm-negating charm with just his words.
Man, the only time when I say “let there be light!” and it happened is if I said it while switching on the light switch.
