Bab 343: Bai He

Outside of Chong Ming Town, there was a huge crowd of people.

It was the grand marriage of the Second Lady from the High Duke's Public House. Moreover, she was getting married to King An who was known to be virtuous as the Princess's consort. It was a big event for Chong Ming Town as it was a great honor.

The residents in the town were all proud of this occasion, they had their meals early, cleaned themselves up, and wore clothes fit for festivals. They even left their houses early to wait on the streets and outside of town. Everyone was hoping to get a good look at King An's prepossessing appearance, and if they could steal a glance at the Second Lady's beautiful looks, it would be even better.

As for the residents outside of town, they left even earlier. Some of them waited at the town gates impatiently, while those who wanted to look at the Second Lady waited outside of the High Duke's Public House.
