Bab 260: Guessing the Beginning Correctly but Not the Ending

"We are the Federal Police, may I ask if they have threatened you all?" After a few Italian police officers surrounded them, one of them pointed at the people below them and inquired to Ren Baqian and the empress.

They spoke in Italian.

Ren Baqian was at a loss when he saw the other party flashing their badges. He then thought aloud, "He should be saying that we have beaten someone up, and wants us to go back to the police station with him? Did he even see us beating people up?"

It was unknown whether he was talking to himself or to the empress. There was a bit of suspicion in his tone as well.
