"No need…" Emily Stone said aloud, her heart bursting with happiness.

Thinking he was concerned about her, she suddenly found the idea of having a fever not so bad.

Emily was startled and looked at him blankly before finally nodding her head, "Okay, I understand!"

The man raised an eyebrow, standing silently, his sharp gaze intensely fixed on her.

Feeling his piercing stare making her scalp tingle, Emily quickly turned and walked forward. Although she had agreed with him, halfway there, she went directly back to her own room.

What she didn't expect was for the man to move so fast that, by the time she reached her room door, he was already standing behind her.
