January 14th why
Sandra pov
Waiting for the dam pregnancy test. I've had 3 negative in the past six months. I hope it's positive. I look at it and it's positive. I look at the other w all positive. I go to the living room mark and Shawn look at me. " I'm pregnant. "
They huge me. Than hugged each other.
7 weeks later I go to my first appointment.
" Sandra "
The nurse calls us back. She looks at us.
The nurse does all the boring stuff. The doc comes in after 20 minutes.
" I'm doctor Jessy I'll be your ob. Do we have a father. "
" Yes one of them or both. "
She looks at Shawn and mark. " We're going to do some pelvic and other exams do you want to leave the room. "
They look at me. " Your going to be seeing a lot of that stuff so it up to you guys. " Mark stands out of the door Shawn said " I'm in a nursing class and I want to be on gynecology. "
" Ok than. "
I feel pain as she checks everything down below. After what feels like 20 minutes she said now let's look at your baby. " Mark comes back in she starts to put belly on my stomach. I look at the monitor. " Congratulations your having twins. "
20 weeks later
29 weeks.
I wake up with blood between my legs. Like a lot.
I called mark and Shawn.
" I'm going to the er. Meet you there."
I go to my car and drive to the er.
I reach the front desk and said " I'm 29 weeks pregnant and I have bleeding. Like a letter. "
Ok we will call you back when we have a open room. "
6 hour later I'm still in the waiting room I said " I had a miscarriage and I'm sitting in my own blood. I see people who have a cold go on before me. "
" Mam were sorry but a trauma came in. "
" I'm just going to go home and shower because you don't take the most important first. "
" Mam. " They try to keep me here just as Im getting up mark and Shawn walk into the er.
" What took you so long. "
" There was a 20 car pileup on the main highway."
" Have you been sitting in your own blood for over 6 hours. "
" Yes so I'm going home and just go to my ob tomorrow. "
" Ok. "
We leave and go to my doctor the next day.
She tells me that I lost the babies and I have an infection. But the meds are a million dollars a pice. And I have to take 1 a day for 14 days. "
Thank you doctor. I said and when we reached the car I said " I want to sue. " They agreed.
3 months later we have a hearing. I enter the courtroom the head of the er is sitting with his attorney.
" Court is in session. Mr brown your opening statement. "
" My client is all about patient care. This was all a wrong place at the wrong time. "
" Your first witness. "
" I would like to call doctor Grant to the stand. "
" Mr grant did you have a team come in on July 22, 2001. "
" Yes but there were no alive paitents. "
" How long were you on the trauma cases. "
" It was about and hour. To call time of death on all 20 people. "
" Was the er busy that night. "
" No It wasn't."
" were you told that there was a paitent in the waiting room. "
" No I wasn't. "
" What were you doing between the times of 3am and 9 am. "
" I was cleaning up the er and celebrating doctor herisons birthday. "

He gets down and the head of the er lawyer said " I would like " Sandra green to come to the stand. "
I get up and he said " you came into the er because you had some vaginal bleeding. "
" Yes. "
" But you never used the bathroom to clean yourself up in the six hours. "
" I did try to open the bathroom. But it was locked. "
" You didn't try to get anyone's attention. "
" I kept asking the receptionist she didn't answer me or acknowledge me. "
" So you were alone in the waiting room for six hours with nobody talking to you. "
" Yes. "
" That's All sir. "
My lawyer get up and said " I would like to have ms joy come to the stand. "
A woman comes to the stand my lawyer said " when you went to Mr brown last week how long till you were seen. "
" It was 12 hours until I was seen."
" And what were you brought in for. "
" I had been feeling very bad pain in my stomach so I decided to go to the ER."
" And what did you have when the doctor diagnosed you."
" I had a aneurysm in my stomach it was about to rupture."
" How many people were in the ER when you first went in. "
" There was five males."
" They were all called right away within the hour and I didn't hear any ambulances come or helicopters. "
" Do you think the ER director is sexist. "
" Yes I do. "
" Thank you ma'am. "
The judge is starting to look mad and she said"
let's let the jury make their decision. "
After about 40 minutes the jewelry comes back in and hands the judge a paper she said " Lily Harrison you are guilty and you owe Mrs Green 5 billion dollars in emotional fees medical fees. "
" We leave the court room and Mr Harrison pins me up against a wall. " You stupid cunt. " A police officer pulls him off me. I go to my car.
