Bab 86: Killing Without a Word

Zhu Jie’s confrontation had been suggested by the Pure Heaven Bureau.

The Pure Heaven Bureau had already had the Lone Mountain surrounded by the magic guards, but they were worried that these two might ride their swords to flee, so they decided to take action on the Cloudy Platform. There were many Cultivation swordsmen here, plus more swordsmen of the Western Ocean Sword Sect. The only concern was that the Western Ocean Sword Sect would be upset if their Four-Seas Banquet was disturbed, so the best way was to enrage them; as long as they attacked first, the Western Ocean Sword Sect couldn’t blame the Imperial Court afterwards, and might even offer the greatest assistance

The best candidate of course was Zhu Jie. He had a good relationship with the Western Ocean Sword Sect and could speak freely in the hall, not to mention how awful and provocative his language could be.
