Ordinary people might throw a hand grenade thirty or forty meters, and with training, throwing one fifty meters could be quite easy. Some exceptionally skilled throwers could even reach beyond a hundred meters, but in combat, a thirty-meter throw was considered quite far.

During combat, one cannot throw a grenade as in training. If lying prone and throwing a grenade, managing over twenty meters was already good, and the accuracy of the thrown grenade was hard to guarantee—it was basically just throwing it and hoping for the best.
