Bab 1178: Everything is up for the Taking (Part 2)

None of the elemental creatures had any concerns for their own safety. Creatures without souls acted solely on their instincts. The reason Saleen was able to capture them so easily was because there were no special magic patterns found within the creatures' internal structures. 

They were still under the ancient humans' control, protecting a place that was devoid of any humans.

The elemental creatures took Saleen for an enemy when Saleen put the badge that Grandmaster gave him and did not bother using the astrologer's key. The creatures would not run even if they knew they were no match with the intruder.

Nailisi opened the purgatory of the fallen and had Saleen stand in the area controlled by the Shackles of the Fallen. The Angel of Brightness broke through the puppets' hold and came before Saleen, but any attacks were shot down by 24 chains of the Shackles of the Fallen.

A level ten Angel of Brightness was capable of a powerful skill: Cleansing Light.
