He was in charge of the items that only the low-level mages would look at. A quarter of the low-level mages in the palace had to go through him in order to borrow these books.

He would not be able to use any divine spells to spy on her while outside of the magic tower, or else he would be caught by the grade-8 mage immediately. As long as his actions were logical, whatever he did would not be counted as going against the deal he made with Theisio.
