Throughout Lance's honest narration, Marvin slowly learnt the ins and out of this Universe.
There was a foundation upon which the entire Universe rested.
Even the World Tree, which winded through the entire Universe. Even the Astral Plane and the Void spread from this foundation.
And the foundation of the Universe was Feinan.
This was also the reason that Feinan was the Prime Material Plane.
Feinan Plane was the origin of everything, and Feinan's Plane Will was the original consciousness of the entire Universe.
A Plane Will was a very complex thing. At first, Lance gave it a relatively superficial understanding of things, only intending to use it as a tool to create the world.
And later on, when he found out that the Plane had its own consciousness, he didn't realize how dangerous this fact could be.
When Feinan's Plane Will first started to think the same way that people did, the disaster had already started.
Afterword (Author & TL)
-[Author]
Night Ranger is over.
I'm not gonna say that I'm very pleased with the ending, but fortunately, everything followed the plot. At least the main plot was clear and some deep foreshadowing and hints were met.
I always liked open endings because of the endless possibilities. Otherwise, when finishing a novel, I would feel like the protagonist and the other lovely characters would be leaving me. But in this ending, I can feel that they are still there, and I can think of them and feel gratified.
There should be no issue with the story, as the world properly continued after the ending of my previous novel and hints toward the even bigger world of Galaxy Empire (author's upcoming novel), but many of those hints are buried quite deep, so I think most people would skip them.
I apologize to everyone.
I am also dissatisfied with Night Ranger's ending.
Although I completed the main plot, there are still some side plots left hanging. I can only criticize myself for the fact that I am too sensitive. Night Ranger should have been the book to prove myself, but because of some matters happening in the middle, I wasn't able to keep up.
I kept losing it, partly because of myself, and partly because of those who would constantly and harshly criticize every chapter. I couldn't focus and it was a really bad state for writing.
I'm extremely grateful to you for reading this afterword.
But everything comes to an end. I spent a long time adjusting my mind, and when I was able to calmly face the haters on the forums, I resumed writing.
Since Night Ranger's plot was already written down, I kept writing with an even greater goal, "Galaxy Empire".
I know that many people already question my morals, so I can only use the quality of Galaxy Empire to convince everyone.
All that I need to prove is that I've been working hard to improve, whether it's in mentality, writing techniques, or storytelling.
I am always improving.
Night Ranger is a book that, through my own efforts, reached the top of the monthly rankings four times.
This is a book that I put a lot of effort into.
This is a book that I care a lot about.
This is a book that made me feel sorrow, regrets, and ultimately relief.
I experienced a lot during the writing of Night Ranger.
But life and stories must go on. Since I'm still writing, the journey will continue.
There is one thing I want to emphasize: I'm always improving.
