Before he could reach for her again, he was already rolling on the floor in a painful struggle. Every inch of his body hurt. It felt as though knives were stabbing him all over his body. 

Casually, Gu Xijiu looked at him. "Have you just gone against your words so quickly? Lucky for me that I have a backup plan."

"What?" Ye Ling was already soaked in sweat.

"The poison that you had before was only something ordinary. However, the pill that I had just given you is the real deal, which is extremely poisonous," she said calmly.
