Huozhu Chi and Linglong Xue both circulated their vital essence to form a protective veil, shielding themselves from the two different, but equally destructive powers.

The other self-cultivators, however, were thrown back as they all cried in pain. Some of their bones began to crack, and their bodies began to bleed heavily.

Qingfeng Li and Jun Po's energies were too strong – it was a competition between light and darkness.

When those powers clashed together, they possessed the power to destroy the heavens and earth. The void around them broke into pieces and the ground beneath them began to crack. The only thing left standing was the Great Bronze Palace, which was under the protection of the Sun Monarch.

The lower level self-cultivators all became seriously injured, as they looked at the two with horror in their eyes.
