Bab 353: The Haze of Fear

The haze grew thicker and soon covered the entire Skyscraping Snake. It slowly formed the shape of a snake connecting the ground to the clouds. It showed no sign of dissipating after a prolonged period...

As the wind blew in from the West Lake, the snake-shaped haze finally began to disappear, blowing away slowly. During the process, the people could no longer see the astonishing figure of the Skyscraping Snake.

As a matter of fact, the beast had already left by the time the haze wrapped around its body. However, the people still assumed that it was still there, since a slight movement from it was enough to bulldoze the streets.

To everyone's surprise, it had disappeared into thin air, just like that. It did not destroy a single building, nor did it utter a single cry. Nothing was left apart from the disappearing haze between the silver skyscraper and the five-starred hotel... Oh, that wasn't true. It did leave a haze of fear covering the whole of Hangzhou.
