Bab 1693: The Return of the Heaven Devouring Beast

Two hundred years ago, a change occurred to the immortal realms. Dao elements began appearing in the City of Ancient Emperors as countless geniuses vied for them.

Why would they do so?

It was naturally because they wanted to become an ancient emperor and fought for the throne in the sky, becoming unrivalled in the immortal realms. In the recorded history of Azure Mystic, many of those existences who had stepped into that realm had once unified the immortal realms. No one dared to disobey them. Although there were only a few records, nobody dared to suspect their unparalleled achievements of becoming the hegemon of the vast immortal realms.

From this, one could very well imagine what sort of existence ancient emperors were here. They were the supreme who stood at the true peak, and were qualified to be the hegemon, controlling the entire world.
