Profound Meanings had nine ranks where the first rank was the weakest one, and the ninth rank the strongest!

Not all ninth rank Profound Meanings had the same function. Some Profound Meanings were more about speed, some on defense, some on supplementing attacks, while others on assault.

Ninth rank Profound Meanings had different levels of strength as well. Normally, the ninth rank Profound Meanings that had evolved from low-level ones with regard to the five elements were not particularly strong. But those related to space, time, destruction, light, and darkness could exert more influence.

It was widely acknowledged that the Profound Meanings of space and time were the most powerful of all. If a warrior could learn stronger versions of those two categories and integrate them, then the warrior would possess strong might.
