Lu Li decided to act upon it. He hoped to learn the Walking Puppet Method in one day. He didn't need to make one. He just wanted to repair the two and make them work.

Lu Li walked to a corner, took out the scroll and began to study it. Hu Lang and Wei Yuan looked at Lu Li as he did so but smiled bitterly.

A frantic last-minute effort?

Lu Li was too naïve. How much help could an occult skill be of? If it could enable an Eternal Realm warrior to kill a Human Sovereign Realm warrior then it wouldn't be a skill but some magic.

Even if magic could work, could Lu Li learn it in one day? Was he asking for the moon?

Wei Yuan sighed but said nothing. He still watched the door intensely, keeping his guards up. Hu Lang didn't move away, either. He stayed near the door, ready to fight with all his strength at any time.
