Bab 453: A Warning

Bai Xiashuang came. Lu Li didn't blame her for not following directions. He was guilty to see her.

He understood the relationship between Bai Qiuxue and Bai Xiashuang. It might be said that they shared the same life. If one of the twins died, the other one might die from sickness as well.

They were bonded by blood and they were close.

After she fell to the ground, Bai Xiashuang picked herself up again while trembling. She was trembling, partly because of the coldness, partly because of the internal struggle and fear.

She walked towards Bai Qiuxue step by step, not giving Lu Li another look. She reached the ice bed, touched the ice covering Bai Qiuxue. Then a saber appeared in Bai Xiashuang's hand. She was ready to cut the ice open to save Bai Qiuxue.

Lu Li moved. He grabbed Bai Qiuxue's hands, holding her tightly in his arms as she was still trying to free herself.

He said in a low voice, "Bai Xiashuang, don't do this. Your sister is alive. If you do this, she will die."
