Devata Realm was just a common name. There were 81 Devata Realms in the Colossal World. Each Devata Realm was surrounded by numerous mundane realms, like stars and moon orbiting a planet.

Usually, Eminent Celestials and Nine Tribulation Bodiless Celestials from mundane realms would ascend to the Devata Realm that was closest to them. For instance, people from Yan Huang Realm would generally ascend to the Jade Emperor Heaven since they were adjacent to one another. However, nothing was absolute. If the Colossal World was in turmoil, the space between the mundane realms and Devata Realms would be in turmoil as well. At this time, there was a possibility that those who were ascending might not ascend to the Devata Realms closest to them.

Generally, a turmoil or disturbance in the Colossal World only happened once every 10,000 years and would only last for 1,000 years. In other words, for once to encounter a disturbance, the chance was only one in ten.
